NHS Online Formulary
The Pharmacy at Kent & Sussex Hospital were publishing their formulary annually in the form of a 150-page printed book which was out of date soon after printing.
We designed a searchable interface and programmed an easy-to-use Content Management System to publish the information online. The listing is now continually updated by Pharmacy staff and is accessible from any static workstation or portable web browser throughout the Hospital and Trust. |

Information Governance (Caldicott) Tool
Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust had conformed to a DoH directive and documented all of their means of transferring person-identifiable information in paper form.
To achieve greater security of data we were challenged with making all of the approved processes available to all users of the Trust secure network. We delivered an easily navigable, multi-filtered instructional and alerting tool, powered by CMS-linked expandable database, which is now employed in all Trusts throughout Kent. |
Acute Medical Take
Acute Medical Take (AMT) is specifically designed to meet the patient registration and tracking demands of an Acute Assessment Unit (AAU) without needing to enter information onto the PAS.
Using a simple drop-down list, patient status can be continually updated by any approved staff members to give an accurate, at-a-glance view of treatment. Status fields can be fully customised to suit individual hospitals via Administration Log-in. Arrival times are displayed in variable colour to warn of patients at risk of breaching waiting time directives. Admitted patients form a list for use at Post Take Ward Round. AMT enables patient treatments and waiting times to be monitored and available for auditing. |

On-Call Rota
On-Call Rota is a utility that allows for the display of current On-call Medical Staff and can be immediately updated. Administrators can input the shift rota for each job role up to a year in advance. By logging in, changes in staff and contact details for shifts can be updated and the information instantly available for the switchboard operators. Shift start and end times and overlaps are clearly illustrated by an animated graphic time line. Information can be simultaneously used to create an on-call contact list that can be made available on a hospital intra-net.
It is designed to be displayed on large reference screens within a hospital Switchboard room. Information can be allocated to specific screens and departments within a multi-site trust are clearly differentiated as being at a particular location. |
Delivery and Stock Management
When a major energy supplier launched an initiative to insulate more homes, we worked with the chosen material supplier.
What began as a consumer-focused sales website evolved into an order, delivery and stock management tool. Via secure log-in staff can assign orders to approved and monitored builder’s merchants by postcode. Order status can then be logged as assigned, processed or consequently delivered and merchant’s stock levels can be monitored. Merchants can log-in to view and accept their assigned orders and merchant’s head office can log-in to monitor the performance of each of their branches. |

Online Magazine
A long-standing client wanted to make their magazines available online.
Rather than to simply create numerous static pages, the brief was for a content management system which enabled articles to be placed in identifiable categories; display a thumbnail image, headline and teaser text; registration to view full articles assisted by password reminder and a full email broadcast creation and mailing section.
